Online Services
- Library Website – Access library resources and services through the library website at library.aiias.edu.
- Online Catalog – Search for library resources, create and share book lists, generate reference lists, renew books online, place books on hold, and access reserved books through the online catalog.
- E-Resources – Access the library’s collection of e-books, online databases, and individual e-journal titles.
- Online Repository – AIIAS theses and dissertations are available at dspace.aiias.edu.
- Video Tutorials – Step-by-step guides on accessing library resources and services are available through video tutorials.
- Library Open Lines – Communicate with a librarian through various platforms such as Facebook, chat box, or phone.
On-Site Services
- Print Books – Students can borrow up to 20 books for two weeks, with the option to renew twice.
- Reserved Books – Students can use print books reserved by faculty for class use.
- Use of Library Facilities – Students can access library facilities, including reading areas, the computer laboratory, recording room, viewing room, writing center, and the discussion rooms.
- Face-to-face consultation with a Librarian – Students can schedule a meeting with the librarian to secure resources for their papers.
- One-on-one tutorial with a Librarian – Students can schedule a tutorial session with the librarian for guidance on using research apps and tools.
Research Support Services
- Articles through Interlibrary Loan – Students can request articles or book chapters not available in the library’s collection through interlibrary loan.
- Library Cubicles and Carrels– Students in the writing stage may apply for a cubicle/carrel slot. An application form must be submitted to the librarian.
- Library Seminars & Workshops – Students can participate in library seminars and workshops on plagiarism detection software, reference management tools, and other essential academic applications.
- Data Analysis Software – The library provides access to HyperResearch, SPSS, and AMOS, which are installed on library computers.
- Book or Article Purchase – The library can assist on-campus students in purchasing resources for research needs.
