The Library’s Collection Development Policy ensures the selection and maintenance of resources that support AIIAS’s academic programs, research, and learning needs. Our goal is to provide relevant, high-quality materials for the entire AIIAS community.
Collections
Reference and Circulating Books
The Library’s collection focuses on Business, Education, Health, and Religion, while also offering general materials, Filipiniana, Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) publications, and devotional resources. The reference and circulating book collections comprise over 80,000 volumes.
Asian Studies Collection
The Asian Studies Center offers research and reading materials covering the religious, educational, financial, health, cultural, political, and national aspects of Asia’s countries and peoples.
Instructional and Media Resources Center (IMRC)
The IMRC houses the Library’s media and instructional collections, including videos, sound recordings, curriculum materials, and teacher resources.

The Library subscribes to and provides access to the following online databases:
- ABI Inform Global Business: Access to nearly 3,000 business periodicals worldwide.
- Academic Search Complete: Offers 10,000+ full-text periodicals, including 8,000+ peer-reviewed journals.
- ATLA/ATLAS Religion Database: Indexes and provides full text for religion journals.
- Oxford Academic Journals: A prestigious collection of scholarly journals spanning various disciplines.
- ProQuest Dissertations & Theses: Full-text access to dissertations and theses, along with abstracts.
- ProQuest Religion: A comprehensive collection of full-text journals in Religion.
- JSTOR: Contains 300+ titles of archival scholarly journals.
- Religion Compass: A peer-reviewed journal specializing in the field of Religion.
